Business Manager

Seeking a seasoned business manager with a heart for education, responsible for overseeing operations across three schools in Emerald, Queensland. 

The role:

• Oversee financial management and budgeting for three schools within the college.
• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and procurement.
• Collaborate with school leadership to align financial goals with educational objectives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team and contractors, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial best practices.
• Serve as a key liaison between the college administration, governing board, and external stakeholders.

Experience required:

• Proven experience in financial management, preferably in an educational or non-profit setting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting processes, and financial reporting.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Strong administration skills
• Alignment with the Christian mission and values of the college.
