Giving up a few things you need is often more effective than adding more things in life. Some of the following points come easier to some however by simply decluttering and revaluating you give yourself a great head start to being successful in 2018. There are some things that are common which will make you successful if you give up on them, even though each one of us could have a different definition of success.

Give Up the Unhealthy Lifestyle

If you want to achieve anything, everything starts with your health. What may seem like small steps now will be beneficial long term. Keep the below in mind, follow through with them and you will notice a difference immediately.

Give Up the Short term Mindset

You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough. Successful people set long term goals and they know these aims are merely the result of short term habits that they need to do every day. These habits shouldn’t be something you do, they should be something you embody.

You playing small does not serve yourself or anyone. If you never try and take great opportunities or allow your dreams to become realities, you will never unleash your true potential. Voice your ideas, don’t be afraid to fail.

Ditch meaningless time wasters and stop allowing them to be an escape from your important goals and make the most out of your 24 hours within a day.
